CNG Containers is a family-owned and operated company located in Nisku, Alberta, and was established in 2008 by father and son, Clayton and Gerald Hiebert. We prioritize integrity, quality, and safety from design concept, throughout production, to delivery, and beyond. We custom design, engineer, and modify shipping containers into high-quality, turnkey, certified prefabricated buildings for industrial and commercial use across North America.
We are a full-service fabrication shop with esteemed partnerships in skilled trades and suppliers. We have established a reputation for providing unrivaled products and service. In order to retain CNG Containers exceptional standards, we follow our Safety Policy and have a Quality Assurance and Quality Control plan that was developed by Intertek, and is structured around the specific job requirements of each project and complete with an Integrated Test Plan as required.

Clayton Hiebert
Managing Partner & Shop and Project Manager
Clayton is the Shop and Project Manager and is certified by the Canadian Welding Bureau as a welder, welding supervisor, and a welding inspector; certified and trained to meet standards for spray-applied rigid polyurethane foam, medium density applications; and certified to meet Canadian Standards Association national building code for prefabricated buildings. His work with our Container Technicians and skilled trades ensures that our modifications and installations retain CNG Containers' exceptional integrity, quality, and safety standards. He is a meticulous fabricator, creative thinker, and second-generation jack of all trades.
Gerald Hiebert
Managing Partner & Senior Estimator
As the Senior Estimator, Gerald will work with you from design concept to optimize your Container Solution and ensure the highest quality and maximum value is delivered. His expertise comes from a background in farming, heavy-duty mechanics, welding, and structural steel building. He is a problem solver, innovative creator, and a classic jack of all trades.

All CNG Container Solutions are fully engineered, built with CWB certified welding, and to Canadian Standards Association CSA-a277 which can certify the unit as a prefabricated building anywhere in Canada and ensures it meets all building codes nationally including structural, electrical, plumbing and insulation components.
