When you are working on welding projects, or any projects that involve using compressed gases, you have to deal with special considerations for the safe storage and handling of these potentially dangerous bottles.
Nobody understands that more than the folks at Air Liquide, one of the world’s leading suppliers of industrial gases. So we were honoured when they enlisted us to design and build a container that could be counted on for safe, secure gas bottle storage.
This 20-foot unit, which they have since placed with a client of theirs, has everything you need to keep volatile gases safe—everything from the explosion-proof LED lighting that cannot produce sparks, to the corner vents that ensure safe air circulation in the event of a leak, to the dividers that make it easy to keep incompatible gases separate. We also installed an “E-Track” system for strapping down and securing bottles during transportation. And the 18-foot “garage door” means that there is always easy access when the unit is on-site.
Safe, secure, mobile, accessible. Thanks to the right modifications, this is now an ideal non-combustible environment for a specific and important industrial use.
